You’ll be part of the Inside Sales department, working closely with colleagues from Order Entry, Logistics and Finance. Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative (German-Speaking), you are the key link between the organisation and its German‑speaking customers. You manage relationships, resolve questions and ensure that customers receive the best possible technical and commercial support.Your responsibilities include:

  • Handling technical, commercial and logistical inquiries from German‑speaking customers
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls and emails in German and English
  • Coordinating with internal departments such as Order Entry, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth order processing
  • Creating and activating customer accounts in the online customer portal
  • Managing returns, complaints and issue resolution in a professional and efficient manner
  • Actively contributing to service improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records of customer interactions and orders
The Successful Applicant

Together with the line manager, we have drawn up the following profile:

  • Experience in customer service, inside sales, telephone sales or consultative selling is a strong plus
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written) and good command of English
  • Available for a full‑time role (40 hours per week)
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems; experience with Power BI or AX is an advantage
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • A service‑oriented customer‑focused attitude
  • Accurate, detail‑oriented and adaptable
  • A true team player who enjoys collaborating across departments
  • Living within approximately 30 minutes travel distance from Alkmaar
