Job Description
  • Translate commercial objectives into concrete actions to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market opportunities and continuously improve the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers across all organisational levels (executive, operations, engineering, purchasing, maintenance, and finance).
  • Evaluate incoming inquiries, prepare quotations, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain and update pricing and delivery times for budgets and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and international developments and provide structured monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Manage initial application assessments, equipment pre-qualification and selection; calculate costs, set prices, and prepare proposals.
  • Coordinate order handovers to technical teams in the Netherlands and other international locations, and support project execution from order intake through start-up.
  • Resolve technical issues in collaboration with service specialists and manufacturing partners.
  • Keep administrative records and sales KPIs up to date using CRM and ERP systems.
The Successful Applicant
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or related fields (bulk material handling, equipment or system sales, maintenance, or services).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical equipment and installation principles.
  • Exposure to industries such as cement, minerals, metallurgy, power generation, or fertiliser production.
  • Higher professional education in a technical or commercial discipline, with several years of relevant work experience and affinity for technology.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade through clarity, credibility, and reliability.
  • Customer focus is second nature; you are professional, presentable, and clear in your communication.
  • Structured, accurate working style with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM and/or ERP systems is required.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and visualise components in three dimensions; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); High level of Dutch is preferred and German is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-30%).
