Our client is a leading global innovator in personal electric mobility solutions.
Job Description
The Sales Officer provides the crucial day-to-day support towards the external distributors and the Distribution Sales Team in all aspects related to the sales administration required in reaching the company’s commercial objectives.
- Handle order administration from initial receipt through necessary internal coordination related to invoicing and fulfillment, ensuring every order is completed accurately, fully, and on time.
- Maintain accurate pricing across all transactions and collaborate with the Finance Department to resolve any pricing inconsistencies.
- Serve as the daily point of contact for distributors across the EU-Africa region, ensuring seamless processing and monitoring of their orders.
- Make sure customer complaints and concerns are resolved effectively and appropriately, escalating issues when required.
- Respond to sales-related inquiries via phone and email across all departments.
- Provide administrative support to the Distribution Sales Team.
- Update and manage Excel-based data tracking and analysis.
- Contribute to achieving sales operational goals by troubleshooting issues, identifying patterns, recommending improvements to sales processes, and assisting with the implementation of changes.
- Participate in internal sales meetings and other relevant events, including occasional weekend exhibitions.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree (MBO+) from a college/university in Business or related field required
- 1 year Sales office experience required
- Strong Excel skills required
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a big plus
- Very strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
- This position will require individuals who are pro-active and possess very good organization, planning, coordination and problem solving skills.
