About Our Client

A leading global supplier and market leading provider of air technology to the waste and recycling industries.

Job Description
  • You are responsible for all acquisition activities with the aim of selling waste separation machines within your sales area; Europe. The countries we focus on are the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
  • You provide leads, follow them up and identify new opportunities in the market.
  • The countries we want to expand in are Austria and Switzerland. There is a possibility that the area will be expanded in the long term.
  • The external contacts you have are diverse: from system builders and end customers to engineering companies.
  • You regularly visit and participate in international trade fairs.
  • Travel pattern: on average, you spend 50% of your total working time travelling/visiting customers. The duration of the trips varies from a few days to over a week, with some overlap with the weekend. You have a lot of freedom in planning your trips.
  • You can work partly from home.
The Successful Applicant
  • In possession of an HBO diploma, preferably Commercial Economics (requirement).
  • International sales experience (requirement).
  • Experience in selling technical capital goods and/or machines (requirement).
  • Personality is imbued with the qualities of persuasiveness, pro-activity, result-oriented and charisma.
  • The candidate lives in the Netherlands
  • Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written (requirement).
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written (requirement).
  • Good command of the German language, Spoken (requirement).
  • You enjoy travelling abroad regularly and travelling and working outside normal working hours.
  • You are available full-time (part-time is not possible).
  • An assessment is part of the selection procedure.
