    Outside Sales Engineer – Climate Solutions Services (Fluent Dutch & English)

    • Full time: 40 hours role
    • Location: Netherlands (based in the Netherlands and actively travelling nationally)
    Job Description

    In this position, you will be part of an international organisation and team, but your focus and area of work will be the Netherlands. With your technical background in combination with your commercial skill set you are capable to handle the responsibility of an entire sales process regarding projects in technical updates, service and maintenance of products. The organisation will support you with the right tools, internal product training, but it is your responsibility as a true spider-in-the-web professional to independently take the lead in preparation of quotations, spotting new opportunities, ensuring your customers are receiving the right solution and service. As an important colleague in the commercial team, you will be supported by other experienced professionals, among which project and service engineers. Your goal will be to bring the company’s service offerings and projects to a successful commercial end.

    In addition to that your responsibilities include:

    • Selling the organisation’s portfolio of products and services while striving for reaching company’s goals and targets
    • Taking initiative in developing new accounts or markets while maintaining good customer relationships (face to face meetings, effective communication)
    • Prepare professional customer quotations upon site surveys and meetings
    • Be in the lead of establishing an annual services sales plan for the Netherlands and forecasting
    • Arrange cross-department meetings in order to discuss project, requirements and plans of action
    • Evaluation, negotiations on terms and conditions
    • Ensure all data and information is logged appropriately in the CRM system
    • Take part in networking events and activities
    The Successful Applicant
    • Technical degree in direction electrical / mechanical engineering
    • Minimum of 3+ years of working experience in technical (service) sales in the B2B world
    • Experience in the climate solutions sector, industrial cooling, commercial refrigeration, air handling, HVAC or similar
    • Fluent in Dutch and has good knowledge of English
    • Pro-active, solution-orientated team player that can operate independently
    • Flexibility in working hours and regularly travelling throughout the Netherlands
