International Digital Marketing and Communications Manager
Full time: 40 hours
Location: Rotterdam area (South-Holland)
Languages: Dutch and English fluency is required
In this role you are strategically, commercially, creatively and hands-on involved in digital marketing. Your goal is to increase the visibility of our client on the web – through web, e-mail marketing, social media platforms and other online formats. You will be involved in online campaigns, aiming at putting in the spot-light newly developed innovative products and solutions.
By building a digital strategy, followed by an online marketing execution, your priority is to provide digital sales and marketing tools that can be used in support of your sales colleagues across various geographical regions in order to generate quality leads and open new doors for business. Next to that you are responsible for:
Strategizing, planning, organizing and executing all digital marketing activities.
A to Z online campaign management: SEO, e-mail, direct, database marketing, social media platforms, advertising campaigns; website optimization (goal: increasing online traffic)
Performance marketing: measuring and reporting online marketing campaigns effectiveness (lead generation and conversion, ROI, KPI’s)
Digital content creation – you will collect data and insights from various internal stakeholders across different regions and will come up with various content for online campaigns.
Close collaboration with international sales and marketing teams (potential international travel might be required); Coordinating and providing the right digital tools with the aim of supporting other countries in their daily marketing activities
Ensuring global brand proposition is across geographical regions while local adaptations are made
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor degree or higher professional education in (Online/Digital) Marketing, E-commerce or similar
Minimum of 5+ years digital marketing management experience in an international B2B company
Strong track record in leading and managing online marketing campaigns: SEO, direct e-mail marketing, social media platforms and advertising; knowledge of website analytics tools is also a must (ex: Google Analytics)
Pro-active approach to stakeholder management across international regions – working closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, business development and training those on digital marketing
Fluent in both Dutch and English
Ability to work independently and switch from strategic to hands-on mentality; taking initiative is key and so is the ability to engage internationally and motivate colleagues to collaborate and support ideas
