Our client is a dynamic and international company with a portfolio of prescription medicines, self-care medicines and health products. For their OTC team in the Netherlands, we are searching for a Product Manager who will focus on one of the priority brands.

In this role, you will report directly in to the Head of Sales & Marketing OTC.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of omni-channel marketing activities and projects as well as Key-Opinion Leader, budget and knowledge management.

In line with your responsibilities; you will develop the marketing plan for assigned products and target groups, identify growth markets and coordinate with supporting disciplines such as Supply Chain, Logistic Services and Finance. You will be expected to communicate the marketing strategy and initiative to the FMCG / OTC Key accounts such as Etos, DA and AS Watson; therefore it is highly preferable that you have affinity with sales-related introduction and presentation processes for brands.

Since you are the dedicated Product Manager for your brand(s), you will collect, analyze and actively use data (including Nielsen) to be able to make informed decisions regarding product development and strategy. You will be asked to gather knowledge by organizing market research, stay informed of relevant developments in the field and health care in general as well as organize advisory boards as the discussion leader.

Tasks and Responsibilities include:

Develop the marketing plan for assigned products and target groups;
Identify growth markets;
Manage allocated budgets;
Commercial monitoring and responsibility for targets set for the brand (turnover, market share, brand awareness etc.);
Develop and implement omni-channel marketing activities;
Key-opinion leader management;
Visit congresses and events when needed;
Gather knowledge by organizing market research;
Organize and manage advisory boards.

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented professional with several years of marketing experience within the OTC/FMCG field. You are expected to have strong communication skills as well as affinity with online marketing.

Requirements include:

Relevant marketing experience within OTC/FMCG or related fields;
Knowledge of and affinity with the OTC market developments;
Project management and analytical skills;
Knowledge of and affinity with online marketing;
Able to collaborate internally and externally at different levels and to share knowledge adequately;
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages; both spoken and written.
